The thyroid test is often referred to as a thyroid function test, it looks at the levels of thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) and thyroxine (T4) in the blood.

What will it show you:

The test will look at all the different two types of thyroid marker in your blood: 

• Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH)
• Free T4 

Why take this test:

• If you think that your thyroid gland may be underactive with symptoms such as:
